Schwarze Wand - Croda Nera is 3354 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Schöne Aussicht Hütte - Rifugio Bella Vista, located 2km west-northwest. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. 0.8 km west from the summit there is glacier Hochjochferner - Ghiacciaio Giogo Alto, 2 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Hochjochferner.
