Description:
Tulpscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2948 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 4 km north-northeast from the center of Hinterbichl and 4 km north-northwest from the center of Prägraten. The nearest mountain hut is Sajathütte, located 1.5km south-southwest. And bivouac Blinigalm is also close by. 4 km east from the saddle there is glacier Säulfrosnitzkees, 4 km east from the saddle there is also glacier Hexenkees. The saddle is located above the valley Timmeltal.
