12er Nock is 2516 meter high peak and is part of the Rieserferner Group. The peak is located 1.6 km north-northeast of peak Gatternock. The nearest mountain hut is Kasseler Hütte, located 3km east. A little further is Bacheralm. 4 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Westlicher Rieserferner - Vedretta di Ries occidentale, 5 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Althauskees - Vedretta di Casavecchia.
