Description:
Achselhorn is 2467 meter high peak and is part of the Berchtesgaden Alps. The peak is located 0.8 km north of peak Mitterhorn. The nearest mountain hut is Riemannhaus, located 1.6km southeast. Even closer is Weißbachlalm, which is located 1.4km to the west-northwest. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Vorderglemmtal.
