Description:
Schartenkopf is 2308 meter high peak and is part of the Berchtesgaden Alps. The peak is located 2 km north of peak Persailhorn. The nearest mountain hut is Peter-Wiechenthaler-Hütte, located 2km southwest. A bit closer is Weißbachlalm, which is located 1.2km to the southwest. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Vorderglemmtal.
