The peak is located 6 km east-northeast from the center of Nauders and 7 km south-southeast from the center of Pfunds and 1.2 km east-northeast of peak Gamorkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Labaunalm, located 4km west-northwest. A little further is bivouac Holzer Hütte. Northwest of the summit is the valley Oberinntal.
