Description:
Agarone is 1241 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located 3 km west-southwest from the center of Povici di sotto and 3 km southwest from the center of Resiutta. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Grauzaria, located 12km north-northwest. A bit closer is bivouac Ricovero Elio Franz, which is located 1.6km to the west-southwest. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Valle del But.
