Description:
Ahornkogel is 1687 meter high peak in the mountain group Totes Gebirge. The peak is located 0.8 km south of peak Trisselwand. The nearest mountain hut is Loserhütte, located 3km northwest. A bit closer is Lechhütte, which is located 1.5km to the west-northwest. 3 km west of the peak there is lake Altausseer See. The peak is located northeast of the valley Koppental.
