Description:
Ameisstein is 776 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the mountain group Totes Gebirge. The peak is located in country Austria 10 km south from the center of Grünau im Almtal and 14 km west-southwest of Steyrling. The nearest mountain hut is Almtalerhaus, located 5km east. A bit closer is Jhtt., which is located 3km to the southwest. The peak is located east-northeast of the valley Rettenbachtal.
