Außergweilkopf is 2406 meter high peak in the mountain group Rätikon. The peak is located 5 km west from the center of Galgenul and 5 km west from the center of Sankt Gallenkirch. The nearest mountain hut is Tilisunahütte, located 3km west. A little further is Gauertalhaus. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Montafon.
