Beilstein is 1124 meter high peak and is part of the Türnitz Alps. The peak is located 4 km north from the center of Annaberg and 4 km south from the center of Schwarzenbach an der Pielach. The nearest mountain hut is Teichhütte, located 5km east. A bit closer is Jagdhaus, which is located 4km to the southeast. West of the summit is the valley Klausgraben.
