The peak is located 1.8 km northeast of peak Hohe Schrott and severo-severowest above the mountain pasture Dielaualm. The nearest mountain hut is Ischler Hütte, located 5km south-southeast. A bit closer is Mitterkarlalm, which is located 1.8km to the south. The peak is located east of the valley Weißenbachtal. The peak is located on the ridge Schrottkamm.
