The peak is located 4 km east-northeast from the center of Kernhof and 4 km southeast from the center of St. Aegyd am Neuwalde. The nearest mountain hut is Gippelhütte, located 4km south. Closer is Schlagerhütte, which is located 3km to the southeast. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Wassertal.
