Description:
Brechkogel is 2918 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 5 km north-northeast from the center of Zaunhof and 7 km west-southwest from the center of Tumpen. The nearest mountain hut is Erlanger Hütte, located 1.2km east-southeast. bivouac Forchheimer Biwakschachtel is a bit further away. 7 km northeast of the peak there is lake Piburger See. The peak is located in the valley Oberinntal.
