Brunnkogel

Description:
Brunnkogel is 1508 meter high peak with a registration box and a cross in the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 4 km north-northeast from the center of Mitterweißenbach and 5 km north-northeast from the center of Kößlbach. The nearest mountain hut is Rieder Hütte, located 3km north. A little further is bivouac Langwies/Traun Traunbrücke. 6 km north of the peak there is lake Vorderer Langbathsee. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Weißenbachtal. The peak is located on the ridge Brunnkogel Südostkamm.
