Schneekogel

Description:
Schneekogel is 1403 meter high peak and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 5 km west-southwest from the center of Roith and 5 km north-northeast from the center of Mitterweißenbach. The nearest mountain hut is Rieder Hütte, located 3km north-northwest. A bit closer is Grasbergstube (Jhtt.), which is located 1.5km to the east-southeast. 6 km north of the peak there is lake Vorderer Langbathsee. The peak is located east-northeast of the valley Weißenbachtal.
