Eislochkogel is 1830 meter high peak and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located 3 km southwest from the center of Unterkainisch and 4 km south-southwest from the center of Bad Aussee. The nearest mountain hut is Sarsteinhütte, located 5km west. A bit closer is bivouac Bad Aussee Kramergasse, which is located 3km to the north-northeast. 7 km north-northeast of the peak there is lake Altausseer See.
