Hörndl Kogel

Description:
Hörndl Kogel is 994 meter high peak and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located 1.5 km south-southeast from the center of Unterkainisch and 3 km south from the center of Bad Aussee. The nearest mountain hut is Sarsteinhütte, located 7km west. A bit closer is bivouac Radlingstüberl, which is located 1.8km to the east. 6 km north of the peak there is lake Altausseer See. The peak is located southeast of the valley Koppental.
