Description:
Foißkarkopf is 3029 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 7 km south-southeast from the center of Krimml and 9 km south from the center of Vorderkrimml. The nearest mountain hut is Berndlalm, located 4km northeast. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 3 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Kl. Jaidbachkees, 4 km south-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Großer Jaidbachkees. The peak is located above the valley Krimmler Achental.
