Forerberg is 432 meter high peak and is part of the Türnitz Alps. The peak is located 1.3 km west from the center of Theyern and 1.5 km south-southeast from the center of Höbenbach. Hirterhütte is also relatively close. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Seegraben.
