Description:
Gamskogel is 2210 meter high peak and is part of the Gurktal Alps. The peak is located 7 km northeast from the center of Turrach and 7 km south-southwest from the center of Paal. The nearest mountain hut is Hirnbodenhütte, located 8km south-southeast. Closer is Schafferalm, which is located 6km to the southeast. Southeast of the summit is the valley Metnitztal.
