Description:
Schalchnock is 1665 meter high peak and is part of the Gurktal Alps. The peak is located 1.8 km east-northeast of peak Strannerhöhe. The nearest mountain hut is Esebeckhütte, located 7km northeast. A little further is Schafferalm. Southeast of the summit is the valley Metnitztal.
