A little further is bivouac Hochferner-Biwak. 3 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Grießferner, 3 km east from the summit there is also glacier Weißkarferner - Vedretta della Quaira Bianca. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Zamser Grund.
