Gamzekögele is 2321 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 4 km southeast from the center of Sankt Leonhard im Pitztal and 7 km north from the center of Plangeross and 1.7 km north-northwest of peak Hundstalkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Stabelealm, located 5km northeast.
