Description:
Vorderer Feuerkogel is 2955 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 4 km east-southeast from the center of Sankt Leonhard im Pitztal and 7 km west-southwest from the center of Längenfeld and 1.2 km northwest of peak Luibiskogel. The nearest mountain hut is Innerbergalm, located 4km northeast. A bit closer is Luibisalm, which is located 1.7km to the west-southwest. 5 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Geigenkarleferner, 5 km south from the summit there is also glacier Rötkarlferner. The peak is located east of the valley Pitztal.
