Schmalzkopf

Description:
Schmalzkopf is 2526 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 1.8 km north of peak Luibiskogel. The nearest mountain hut is Innerbergalm, located 2km northeast. A little further is bivouac Wöckelwarte. 6 km south from the summit there is glacier Geigenkarleferner, 6 km south from the summit there is also glacier Rötkarlferner. The peak is located east-northeast of the valley Pitztal.
