Generalkogel

Description:
Generalkogel is 713 meter high peak with a cross and a summit register and is part of the Lavanttal Alps. The peak is located 1.4 km north-northeast from the center of Plankenwarth and 2 km east-southeast from the center of Untere Schirning. The nearest mountain hut is Mühlbacherhütte, located 10km north-northwest. A bit closer is Eddi´s Holzhackerhütte, which is located 6km to the north. The monument Grab der Generalin is also located at the top. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Annengraben.
