Description:
Großer Ramolkogel is 3549 meter high peak in the Natural Park Ötztal. The peak is located 4 km east-southeast from the center of Vent and 6 km west-southwest from the center of Obergurgl. The nearest mountain hut is Ramolhaus, located 2km south-southeast. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. 0.8 km east-southeast from the summit there is glacier Ramolferner, 0.8 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Latsch-Ferner. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Gurgler Tal. The peak is located on the ridge Ramolkamm.
