Großes Hinterhorn

Description:
Großes Hinterhorn is 2506 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the mountain group Steinberge. The peak is located 3 km west-northwest of peak Großes Ochsenhorn. The nearest mountain hut is Schmidt-Zabierow Hütte, located 1.5km east. Scheffauer Almhütte (ehem.) is also relatively close. 5 km west-southwest of the peak there is lake Pillersee. West of the summit is the valley Pillerseetal.
