Grubigjoch is 2586 meter high peak and is part of the Lechtal Alps. The peak is located 1.4 km south-southeast of peak Bergwerkskopf. The nearest mountain hut is Steinseehütte, located 3km northwest. Closer is Almhütte Vorderstark, which is located 2km to the west. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Oberinntal.
