Gupf is 948 meter high peak and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 4 km southeast from the center of Weyregg am Attersee and 6 km east from the center of Nußdorf am Attersee. The nearest mountain hut is Rieder Hütte, located 10km southeast. A bit closer is Laxenbacher Holzstube (Jhtt.), which is located 1.0km to the east-southeast. 8 km southeast of the peak there is lake Vorderer Langbathsee. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Weißenbachtal.
