Description:
Wachtberg is 823 meter high peak and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 2.0 km south-southeast from the center of Weyregg am Attersee and 4 km east from the center of Nußdorf am Attersee. The nearest mountain hut is Hochsteinalm, located 12km east-southeast. Closer is bivouac Alexenau Bundesstraße, which is located 1.3km to the southwest. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Weißenbachtal.
