Hasenkogel is 774 meter high peak in the Gurktal Alps. The peak is located 0.9 km southeast from the center of Sankt Georgen am Längsee and 1.2 km north-northeast from the center of Thalsdorf. The nearest mountain hut is Druckerhütte, located 15km east-northeast. Closer is bivouac Haltestelle Liebenfels, which is located 12km to the west-southwest. 1.9 km northwest of the peak there is lake Längsee. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Görtschitztal.
