Description:
Hinterer Hühnerkogel is 1219 meter high peak and is part of the Türnitz Alps. The peak is located 4 km east-southeast from the center of Puchenstuben and 5 km north-northwest from the center of Sägemühle. The nearest mountain hut is Annaberger Haus, located 8km east-southeast. Closer is bivouac Annaberg Sägemühle, which is located 5km to the south-southeast. West of the summit is the valley Klausgraben.
