Description:
Hinteres Sonnwendjoch Westgipfel is 1881 meter high peak in the Bavarian Prealps. The peak is located 1.1 km west-northwest of peak Hinteres Sonnwendjoch and northeast above the mountain pasture Bärenbadalm. The nearest mountain hut is Mariandlalm, located 8km east. Closer is hunting cottage Malerschlag-Jagdhütte, which is located 3km to the west. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Thierseetal.
