Description:
Hirscheckkogel is 961 meter high peak and is part of the Prealps East of the Mur. The peak is located 1.2 km west from the center of Ratten and 1.3 km east-southeast from the center of Sankt Kathrein am Hauenstein. The nearest mountain hut is Sonnenhütte, located 4km north-northwest. A bit closer is Waldtoni Hütte, which is located 3km to the west-southwest. The peak is located south-southeast of the valley Glawockengraben.
