Hirschkarspitze is 2119 meter high peak with a cross located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 4 km west-southwest from the center of Bad Hofgastein and 4 km west from the center of Anger. The nearest mountain hut is Hofgasteiner Haus, located 0.7km south-southeast. A little closer is Bergrettung, which is located 0.4km to the south-southwest. 0.8 km west-northwest of the peak there is lake Zirbenlacke. The peak is located northeast of the valley Großfleißtal.
