Hochunnutz is 2075 meter high peak. The peak is located 3 km east-southeast from the center of Achenkirch and 5 km west from the center of Steinberg am Rofan and 0.6 km north-northwest of peak Vorderunnutz. The nearest mountain hut is Seewaldhütte, located 6km west. Closer is Jagdhütte, which is located 3km to the east-southeast. Northwest of the summit is the valley Achental.
