Honigleitenkogel is 2442 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 4 km south from the center of Böckstein and 6 km south-southwest from the center of Bad Gastein and 1.4 km northeast of peak Kreuzkogel. The nearest mountain hut is ÖBB Schutzhütte, located 1.2km north. Höhkaralm is also relatively close. 7 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Schapperebenkees. The peak is located northwest of the valley Seebachtal.
