Keuchenkogel is 2490 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.1 km northeast of peak Kreuzkogel. The nearest mountain hut is ÖBB Schutzhütte, located 1.4km north. Höhkaralm is also relatively close. 7 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Schapperebenkees. Southeast of the summit is the valley Seebachtal.
