Kleiner Wildkogel is 1987 meter high peak in the mountain group Totes Gebirge. The peak is located 8 km north-northeast from the center of Altaussee and 9 km north-northwest from the center of Grundlsee. The nearest mountain hut is Ebenseer Hochkogelhütte, located 3km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Jagdhütte Grünbergalm. 7 km south-southwest of the peak there is lake Altausseer See. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Rettenbachtal.
