Kreuzerschneide is 3677 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 5 km northwest from the center of Vent and 11 km south from the center of Plangeross. The nearest mountain hut is Breslauer Hütte, located 2km south-southeast. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. 1.7 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Mitterkarferner, 5 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Tiefenbachferner. Southeast of the summit is the valley Venter Tal. The peak is located on the ridge Weißkamm.
