Taufkarjoch

Description:
Taufkarjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 3218 meters in the Ötztal Alps. The saddle is located 0.6 km northeast of peak Taufkarkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Breslauer Hütte, located 3km south-southwest. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. 3 km west-southwest from the saddle there is glacier Mitterkarferner, 4 km northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Tiefenbachferner. The saddle is located west-northwest of the valley Venter Tal. The saddle is located on the ridge Weißkamm.
