Description:
Weißkarkogel is 2995 meter high peak in the Natural Park Ötztal. The peak is located 4 km north-northeast from the center of Vent and 8 km west-northwest from the center of Obergurgl. The nearest mountain hut is Braunschweiger Hütte, located 5km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. 3 km north from the summit there is glacier Tiefenbachferner, 4 km east-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Steiniglehnferner.
