A little further is bivouac Rheinland-Pfalz-Biwak. 0.5 km east from the summit there is glacier Tiefenbachferner, 1.5 km north from the summit there is also glacier Karlesferner. The peak is located south-southwest of the valley Rettenbachtal. The peak is located on the ridge Weißkamm.
