Rettenbachjoch

Description:
Rettenbachjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 2990 meters in the Ötztal Alps. The saddle is located 7 km southeast from the center of Plangeross and 7 km west-southwest from the center of Sölden. The nearest mountain hut is Braunschweiger Hütte, located 1.2km west. bivouac Rheinland-Pfalz-Biwak is also relatively close. 0.8 km west-southwest from the saddle there is glacier Karlesferner, 1.3 km north from the saddle there is also glacier Pollesferner. The saddle is located above the valley Rettenbachtal.
