Karlkögele is 2788 meter high peak in the Natural Park Ötztal. The peak is located 5 km west-northwest from the center of Obergurgl and 5 km northeast from the center of Vent. The nearest mountain hut is Gaislachalm, located 6km north-northeast. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. 1.6 km east-southeast from the summit there is glacier Stockferner, 1.8 km south from the summit there is also glacier Steiniglehnferner.
