Vernagtjoch

Description:
Vernagtjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 3400 meters in the Natural Park Ötztal. The saddle is located 6 km west-northwest from the center of Vent and 12 km south of Plangeross. The nearest mountain hut is Breslauer Hütte, located 3km east-southeast. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. East-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Mitterkarferner, 7 km northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Tiefenbachferner. Northwest of the saddle is the valley Taschachtal. The saddle is located below the ridge Weißkamm.
