Laubkogel is 1760 meter high peak and is part of the Kitzbühel Alps. The peak is located 3 km west of peak Sonnspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Kelchalm Bochumer Hütte, located 1.5km south. And bivouac Birg Schafalpe is also close by. The peak is located east-northeast of the valley Leukental.
