Lauser is 2616 meter high peak and is part of the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 4 km east from the center of Tumpen and 5 km north-northeast from the center of Umhausen. The nearest mountain hut is Neue Bielefelder Hütte, located 4km north-northwest. Closer is Jagdhütte, which is located 3km to the south. 6 km west-northwest of the peak there is lake Piburger See.
